Join us for the 18th Annual Elisabeth C. Miller Memorial lecture, “Conserving Plants in a Changing World,” by Peter H. Raven, President Emeritus of the Missouri Botanical Garden.
Many, perhaps half, of the estimated 400,000 species of flowering plants in the world may no longer exist in nature by the end of the 21st century. Peter H. Raven, a leading botanist and advocate of conservation and biodiversity with a notably international outlook, will discuss strategies for our planet’s diversity.

Meany Hall for the Performing Arts, University of Washington
The lecture is free. Email info@millergarden.org for tickets.
