A family physician and former researcher-clinician at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA, Dr. Solorio's research and teaching focus is on adolescent health promotion. She has a special interest in HIV prevention in Latino youth and in developing health interventions for Latino youth and their families to address racial/ethnic health disparities.
