Caulda Pope
Research Clinician
I am one of the Seattle HPTU site's research clinicians
working on several studies including the Link study.
In addition, I
work at Group Health in Family Practice and Urgent Care.
After working as a laboratory technician for 20 years, I made a decision
to try something new. My personal and professional interest in HIV led me to a position
at
the AIDS Clinical Trials Unit. Feeling limited in my role there, and with
a desire to "do more," I went back to school, graduated from the University of
Washington Medex Northwest Physician Assistant Training Program and earned a B.S.
Some of my outside interests include:
- Board Member of the Downtown Emergency Service Center
- Chair of the Minority Affairs Committee of the Washington State Academy
of PA's
- The University of Washington Mentor Program
- New Option Middle School Women's Project
- Board member and executive staff of The Crystal Stair Fund
