There are several ways you can get involved with HIV prevention
research at Seattle HPTU:
Volunteer for a study
Consider participating in one of our studies. To learn about
studies the Seattle HPTU site is currently conducting, check out
our research page or contact us. To hear from past
participants about their experiences, read our volunteers experiences page.
Volunteer for our CAB
Consider becoming a member of our Community Advisory Board
(CAB).
The CAB is a group made up of study participants and community
advocates that
"look out" for the interests of HPTU/HVTU (HIV Vaccine Trials Unit) study
participants. They do this by assisting in protocol review, being the
eyes and ears to the community, and speaking about our studies to
community leaders.
To learn more about the CAB, check out the CAB
webpage or contact us.
