International Law Resources

A Gateway to Environmental Law and an initiative to provide global access to information on environmental law. ECOLEX is a joint project of the United Nations Environment Programme (http://www.unep.org/) and IUCN-The World Conservation Union, Environmental Law Programme (http://www.iucn.org/themes/law/) with some initial funding from the Government of the Netherlands.

FAOLEX indexes "national legislation and international agreements concerning food and agriculture (including fisheries, forestry and water)".

The International Centre for the Legal Protection of Human Rights, was established in 1982 to provide leadership in the development of legal protection for human rights and freedoms through the effective use of international and comparative human rights law. They work to help judges, lawyers, practitioners, non- governmental organisations and victims with the practical application of international and comparative human rights law in national, regional and international courts and tribunals.
