This selective bibliography contains citations to both governmental
materials held in the Suzzallo and Allen Libraries. While the list emphasizes recently published material,
older works, of course, are always valuable for historical perspective and overview, and can be located by using
the UW Libraries Catalog.

The World Wide Web has been a remarkably effective tool to alert large numbers of people to human rights abuses,
activities and action groups. This list is VERY SELECTIVE, providing a very small sample of Latin American human rights Web sites.
