In conjunction with Dr. Chris Knight, HSAS&F Computing Support has created and licensed a software package called CaseWriter (TM). CaseWriter allows physicians to develop and quickly web-publish online medical education case studies.
CaseWriter has been accepted for presentation at the National Society of General Internal Medicine Annual Meeting in Los Angeles, April 2006. Dr. Knight will be presenting.
CaseWriter also provides an XML-based standard for online medical education case studies. This makes for ready collaboration of studies as well as sharing case studies on multiple hosts.
