To reserve any of the spaces found on this page, you will need to submit a request in roomQ or call 206-543-0530 if you need a room within 48 hours.

Informal Learning Spaces

Food is not permitted inside any of our rooms in the Health Sciences and Foege-S buildings. If your event will have food, you must reserve a space where the catering can be set up outside the room.  For more information on this policy please visit Event Support. All rooms have wireless internet and Ethernet connections, unless otherwise noted.  You may need a valid UW NetID to access the network.

Room seating types

  • Classrooms: Furniture consists of easily movable tablet arm chairs. Event examples include course breakouts, discussions, test taking, etc.
  • Seminar Room: Furniture consists of long tables and movable chairs. Great for discussions, club meetings, and informal get-togethers.
  • Conference Room: Furniture consists chairs around a central table(s). Great for round-table meetings.
  • Lecture Hall: Stadium style seating with fixed furniture. Great for large groups, guest speakers, and groups in need of AV equipment.
  • Special Event Space: Various types of events can be held in these unique spaces. Includes indoor and outdoor reception space
  • Lab: Teaching laboratory
