Roundtable Introductions at the Meeting
The roles featured in this video are typical attendees in an IEP meeting. Attendees required to be a part of the IEP team include a School District Representative, Head Start Disabilities Coordinator, parents/ guardians, and at least one member from the evaluation team. Those highly encouraged to attend include advocates for the family, itinerant teachers, related service professionals, a school district psychologist, and anyone else the family would like to invite. Generating Goals
This clip illustrates the creation of IEP goals. IEP goals are priorities in the domains that the child qualifies for specially designed instruction and require either specialized instruction or therapy. The goals are developed in collaboration with the members of the IEP team. Signing
In this clip, the meeting facilitator takes the opportunity to recap the meeting highlights before passing around the IEP document to be signed.
