The Department of Health Services at the University of Washington seeks to fill one or two full-time (100% FTE) research faculty positions in the area of Comparative Effectiveness Research (CER)/ Patient-Centered Outcomes Research (PCOR) at the Research Assistant Professor level. The successful candidate(s) must also concurrently apply and qualify for a UW K12 training fellowship (deadline to apply is May 15, 2014). The position responsibilities are primarily research, with limited teaching and advising opportunities. Applicants must have a doctoral degree (expected completion by August 31, 2014 is acceptable) in Health Services Research, Health Policy, Economics, Health Economics, Decision Sciences, Psychometrics, Outcomes Research or a related field.
The Seattle Health Services Research and Development (HSR&D) Center of Innovation (COIN) (www.pugetsound.hsrd.research.va.gov), Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) and the Department of Health Services, School of Public Health, University of Washington (http://depts.washington.edu/hserv) are jointly searching for a Core Investigator/Research Assistant Professor (without tenure) to pursue health services research at the VA in Seattle.
