Department of Health Services Annual Research Meeting
On June 15, 2011, The Department of Health Services will be hosting its first Annual Research Meeting at the University of Washington Tower to showcase the diverse research of faculty, professional staff, and students in public health and health care services.
This year's meeting is organized around the theme "Research That Makes a Difference: A community of researchers and practitioners improving public health and health care" and will feature a keynote address by the Medical Director of Odessa Brown Children's Clinic, Dr. Benjamin Danielson. Dr. Danielson will bring his years of experience as a dedicated frontline provider and community health advocate to our conversation. We will follow with 3 panel discussions of selected posters, poster viewings, and a catered lunch. The event will be followed by a reception of light refreshments.
With over 90 abstracts submitted and a prominent community health advocate and medical care provider on-hand to deliver the keynote address, the event will surely be a memorable one.
