Dr. Peggy Hannon Awarded UW Mifflin Professorship
After a nomination process across the School of Public Health, Dr. Peggy Hannon, Associate Professor in Health Services, has been selected as the holder of the James W. Mifflin University Professorship. The purpose of the James W. Mifflin University Professorship is to enhance the University’s ability to attract and retain distinguished UW faculty whose professional achievements are recognized as making significant contributions. Her appointment is in recognition of her exceptional contributions and accomplishments as well as her leadership qualities. The Professorship provides $25,000 of support per year for 5 years.
