About the Lectureship: The Peter A. Peter Breysse was one of the department's founding faculty members, and he was instrumental in the development of the industrial hygiene program. Active nationally and in local professional communities, Breysse was a tireless advocate for improving people's health. He is credited with populating the ranks of industrial hygienists throughout the country.
