Join us to hear more about the work being done in the Department of Health Services related to the Affordable Care Act. The ACA presents some historic opportunities for collaboration between the health care system and public health. What ACA related research is being pursued at UW, and what opportunities are there for future research?
- Doug Conrad, Professor of Health Services, Jeremy Snider, PhD candidate in Health Services, and Eli Kern, MPH from Public Health - Seattle & King County will talk about work being done to monitor the impact of health care reform in King County.
- David Grembowski, Professor of Health Services, will present a synopsis of UW-SHARE, a statewide survey to assess access to health care.
- Northwest Center for Public Health Practice director Tao Sheng Kwan-Gett will give a brief update on public health practice developments in our region.
