Health Needs Assessment
Catalog Description:
Health needs assessment draws on multiple methods to collect, analyze and prioritize information in support of public health's core functions. This course covers the principles and practice of health needs assessment through assigned reading, homework, discussion, take-home and in-class exercises, oral presentations and written reports. The class is recommended for students whose future work is likely to include monitoring and measuring the health of populations, planning for health services, or making decisions about the distribution of health resources.
