Professional Development Experience
Catalog Description:
The Professional Development Experience (PDE) provides MHA students with a formal and active introduction to the health care profession and valuable exposure to quality management practices. First year MHA students, divided into small groups of 4-5, visit one of several local healthcare organizations and shadow local health care professionals who are working in administration at a practice-based level. The PDE will last approximately six weeks between March and April.
