Introduction to Systematic Reviews and Meta-analysis of Evidence
Catalog Description:
Conceptual understanding of the quantitative methods used to synthesize evidence. Methods for pooling evidence across independent studies, pooling binary/continuous outcomes, differences between fixed and random effects models, and guidelines for appraising published systematic reviews/meta-analyses. Prerequisite: introductory-level courses in statistics, epidemiology, or biostatistics.
