Preparing and Writing Research Proposals
Catalog Description:
Over 10 weeks, students will practice writing all sections of an NIH R01 (investigator initiated) proposal. Before Thanksgiving break, students will complete a 10-page proposal and give copies to the instructors and two student reviewers. At the end of the course, all proposals will be reviewed in a mock study section consisting of course students and exciting guest faculty
