(Web page for registered students) Will acquaint students with the basic techniques of statistical analysis and demonstrate how these can be used to make intelligent decisions in various aspects of health service management. Will also provide awareness of ways in which statistics may be used to misrepresent data and real world situations. Emphasis will be on understanding the concepts of statistical analysis, applying these techniques to data and arriving at reasonable conclusions based on the results of that analysis.
