Christian Dimaano is currently a Clinical Assistant Professor in the School of Public Health at the University of Washington where his research interests focus on the use of qualitative methods to highlight gaps in health disparities. He received his doctorate in Oncology from the Huntsman Cancer Institute, University of Utah and holds Masters degrees in Immunology from the California State University, East Bay and Public Health from the University of Washington. Christian completed his undergraduate training at the University of San Francisco. Christian leads a team of health outcomes-focused medical scientists at Gilead Sciences, Inc, a biotech company focused on developing therapies for unmet medical needs. He also currently serves on the WA State Board of Advisors for the American Cancer Society. Christian is available to serve on MPH committees for thesis research or capstone projects.
