Dr. Jackson is currently a principal in a management consultancy devoted to transforming healthcare by implementing the "A3" process, pioneered at Toyota, which combines evidence-based problem solving and leadership development. His interests include implementation of lean management and total quality in organizations, both large and small, in healthcare. He has authored four books on hoshin kanri (aka strategy management, the "balanced scorecard", and goal deployment).
