Thomas McWhinnie is also the Deputy Director of the Center for Education and Development (CED) at the Dept of Veterans' Affairs, Puget Sound Health Care System. CED is responsible for providing Oraganizational Development and Executive Development programs, services and consultations to the VISN 20 region (Alaska, Idaho, Washington and Oregon). Prior to this position, Professor McWhinnie served seventeen years in a similar capacity for Group Health Cooperative of Puget Sound. Professor McWhinnie has also lectured extensively at health care conferences throughout North America.
