I am personally committed to working with faculty and students to develop and maintain one of the nation's finest and most comprehensive programs in health management. I and the other MHA faculty members are committed to presenting a systemic and highly integrated approach to the learning of health management principles within a challenging 'adult-learning' oriented environment.
William E. Welton
Senior Lecturer
Adjunct Lecturer, Biobehavioral Nursing and Health Systems

Dr. Welton currently serves as the Program director of the MHA Program. Prior to joining the UW faculty, Dr. Welton founded the School of Public Health at MCP Hahnemann University in Philadelphia, PA. From 1972 - 1994, Dr. Welton served in a variety of senior management and leadership roles in several of the nation's leading health systems and academic medical centers.

Organization of health care markets and relationship to overall per capita costs
