Ann Nguyen (2013)
Ann received her MPH in Epidemiology from the University of California, Irvine, in 2011, and has since had a summer fellowship at the Yale Entrepreneurial Institute, where she participated in a 10-week bootcamp for student entrepreneurs. Professionally, Ann has worked for two years at Palomar Health, a health system based in North County San Diego, California, as a Transformation Education Project Coordinator, helping to open a new hospital. Ann has conducted research on the epidemiology of influenza mortality, and on strokes and transient ischemic attacks (TIA). Ann is highly proficient in database analysis and management, and is a fluent Vietnamese speaker. Ann is an MHA Research Assistant for 2013-2014 and is currently working on several research projects, including an evaluation of physician alignment models. Her planned area of emphasis is Health Systems Research.
