Ann Nguyen (2013)
Ann earned her MPH in epidemiology in 2011 and her BS in biomedical engineering in 2009 from UC Irvine. She has work experience in health workforce development, organizational learning and development, and physician on-boarding. Currently, Ann is an MHA Research Assistant and Project Coordinator for the NSF Center for Health Organization Transformation (CHOT) at UW. She is currently working with Dr. Chris Johnson on her dissertation: "Organizational Factors Affecting the Successful Integration of Physician Groups with Health Systems." This research is in collaboration with the University of Louisville and the Commonwealth Institute. Ann's research interests include: physician integration, physician practices, integrated delivery systems, financial incentives, and health delivery system innovation. She has also publications in influenza mortality and veteran's health. Her area of emphasis is Health Systems Research.
