Tuition, Room & Board
Tuition rates for the PhD Program in Health Services are set each year by the School of Public Health within guidelines approved by the state legislature.
The cost of room and board varies considerably based on the type of housing and the University meal plan selected.
Single rooms for graduate students are available in quiet dormitories such as Hansee and Mercer Halls. The University also has shared apartments in Stevens Court which is located close to Health Services.
There are several family housing facilities available and most require a bus ride to the University, but have play spaces for children and parking. No pets are allowed.
Lastly, Seattle has many livable neighborhoods and many students choose to rent apartments or houses. Rentals in neighborhoods closest to the University tend to fill up quickly before autumn quarter.
