Oxford Seeks New Director for its Wellcome Unit for the History of Medicine

Readership in the History of Medicine and Directorship of the (Oxford) Wellcome Unit for the History of Medicine

The electors intend to proceed to an election to the Readership in the History of Medicine with effect from as early a date as may be arranged. The readership carries with it the Directorship of the (Oxford) Wellcome Unit for the History of Medicine. A non-stipendiary fellowship at Green College is attached to the readership.

Applications (eleven copies, or one only from overseas candidates), naming three persons who have agreed to act as referees on this occasion (with postal and e-mail addresses and telephone/fax numbers), should be received not later than 10th September 2001 by the Registrar, University Offices, Wellington Square, Oxford OX1 2JD, from whom further particulars may be obtained.
