Ph.D. in History required. Successful candidates must be willing to develop preparations in several subfields, such as Technology, Aerospace/ Exploration, Labor, African American, Women and Gender, or Diplomatic and Military. Applicants should provide evidence of excellent teaching, effectiveness teaching a diverse student body, and teaching interests that can serve interdisciplinary programs. The University of Houston-Clear Lake is an upper-level university (juniors, seniors, and masterŐs students) adjacent to NASA-Johnson Space Center.
