Science Communicator

The National Science Foundation's Office of Legistative and Public Affairs is seeking persons interested in non-career, short term positions communicating science information to the general public. Limited pilot program funding is available to colleges and universitites that provide suitable graduates or graduate students for a period up to 12 months of full time work at NSF headquarters. Ideal candidates will have a broad familiarity with science, advanced communications skills, knowledge of electronic dissemination methods including web based systems. They will also be enthusiastic about the importance of conveying research results to a broad national audience.
