The University of Mississippi invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professorship in the history of science. All fields of specialization will be considered. The position is a joint appointment between the Department of History and the McDonnell-Barksdale Honors College. Ph.D. expected by August 2002. Review of applications will begin on October 15, 2001, and position will remain open until filled or until an adequate applicant pool is established.
