Temporary Instructors

The University of Georgia History Department will need a number of temporary instructors in all fields for the 2001-2002 academic year.

If you are interested, please send a c.v., three letters of recommendation, preferably ones that comment on your teaching, students evaluations, preferably computer-scored, and syllabi. Also indicate the maximum number of courses you would want in the semester and the minimum acceptable. Pay this academic year was $3,117 per course. Availability of benefits determined by number of courses taught.

Our need for temporary instructors can arise on very short notice up to, and even beyond, the start of the semester, so it is vital that you include email addresses and phone numbers where you can be reached throughout the summer. Because of the ongoing nature of thse positions, we will contact you only in connection with the appearance of an actual vacancy.
