Tenure-Track Assistant Professorship

History of Science, Early Modern Europe

The History Department at the University of Washington invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professorship in history of science, with a focus on early modern Europe.

The successful candidate will be expected to teach survey courses as well as undergraduate and graduate classes in his or her specialty fields, and to participate in the University's interdepartmental undergraduate major in history and philosophy of science.

Applicants should have the PhD or be in the final stages of their PhD program. Applications, including c.v., statement of research and teaching interests, writing and syllabus samples, and three letters of recommendation, should be sent to:
