welcome to the   COMMUTER COMMONS

Commuting to campus?

Let us be your home in the HUB!

The Commuter Commons provides a dedicated space, and a variety of services for commuting students. We also arrange events throughout the year to build a strong community among students who live off-campus.  Check back regularly for information on upcoming events.

Our Resources

Kitchenette

Keep your lunch cold or heat it up in our kitchenette! For day-use, we have a fridge, microwaves, hot water dispenser and toaster!

Day Use Lockers

Store your heavy books and backpack in our lockers. Our new storage units (scheduled to arrive end of Fall Quarter) are big enough to fit a bike helmet and/or motorcycle helmet.

This private room has a chair, table, mini-fridge, soft lighting, a hand-washing station, and power adapters. The station provides a clean and private alternative to using a bathroom or other public space.

What advice would you give to other commuter students? Do not get into the habit of missing classes because you live far away. I found out the hard way that information accumulates in every class, and what seems easy when you are in class becomes more difficult with every missed lecture.
