welcome to the   COMMUTER COMMONS

Commuting to campus?

Let us be your home in the HUB!

The Commuter Commons provides a dedicated space, and a variety of services for commuting students. We also arrange events throughout the year to build a strong community among students who live off-campus.  Check back regularly for information on upcoming events.

Keep your lunch cold or heat it up in our kitchenette! For day-use, we have a fridge, microwaves, hot water dispenser and toaster!

Day Use Lockers

Store your heavy books and backpack in our lockers. Our new storage units (scheduled to arrive end of Fall Quarter) are big enough to fit a bike helmet and/or motorcycle helmet.

What advice would you give to other commuter students? Google Maps and OneBus Away are amazing resources as a commuter- use them OFTEN! Depending on where you're commuting from, you might find that there are multiple routes you can take to get to campus in case you miss your bus and are in a rush to get to class (I know I do). You might not have to wait another 20-30 minutes for your usual bus to come along.
