Mr. Sila works as a data manager for the <\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SpellingErrorV2Themed SCXW232218777 BCX0\">PrEP<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW232218777 BCX0\"> in Pregnancy Accelerating Reach and Efficiency (<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SpellingErrorV2Themed SCXW232218777 BCX0\">PrEPARE<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW232218777 BCX0\">) study, an implementation science pilot project in <\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW232218777 BCX0\">three<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW232218777 BCX0\"> counties in Western Kenya, where he leads data analysis and manuscript writing for primary study results, overseeing QA\/QC procedures, coordinating data collection in study sites, and implementing guidelines for data management<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW232218777 BCX0\">.\u00a0 <\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW232218777 BCX0\">Mr.<\/span> <span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW232218777 BCX0\">Sila<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW232218777 BCX0\"> also worked for the Adolescent Girls and Young Women study<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW232218777 BCX0\">,<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW232218777 BCX0\"> which was under Kenyatta National Hospital<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW232218777 BCX0\"> (KNH)<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW232218777 BCX0\">,<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW232218777 BCX0\"> as <\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW232218777 BCX0\">a <\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW232218777 BCX0\">data manager where his duties included database development, developing standard operating procedures, training staff, and managing project data in <\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SpellingErrorV2Themed SCXW232218777 BCX0\">REDCap<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW232218777 BCX0\">. His research interests are in HIV prevention and treatment<\/span> <span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW232218777 BCX0\">and maternal health<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW232218777 BCX0\">,<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW232218777 BCX0\"> especially among the most vulnerable groups in our society (AGYW)<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW232218777 BCX0\">.
