Avoiding Procrastination

Avoid idle conversation
Break your addiction to your cell phone!

Know when you are rationalizing
Be honest with yourself about why you’re avoiding studying.

Avoid drugs and alcohol when you are studying
Contrary to what some may believe, you do not study better when stoned.

Turn off the television
Don’t divide your attention. You can’t watch Friends and read anthropology at the same time.

Stay healthy
Eating right and getting exercise helps increase your energy level.

Stay awake
That means getting enough sleep at night.

Go to class and do all the assignments
Most important bit of advice: No matter how much you study, if you’ve missed a lot of classes, you will not do well.
