Keynote Addresses
Friday's keynote speaker was Randy LaPolla. His talk was titled "Nominalization in Rawang, with an excursus on 'descriptive' linguistics and linguistic theory". Saturday's keynote speaker was Robbins Burling. His talk was titled "The Lingua Franca cycle and the map of Tibeto-Burman Languages". Sunday's keynote speaker was Jerry Norman, who organized the ICSTLL-16 when it was held in Seattle in 1983. His talk was titled "Proto-Min Numerals".
