The Instrument Development Laboratory (IDL), a Center on Human
Development and Disability core service, helps research affiliates solve
a variety of behavioral, biomedical instrumentation and engineering problems.
IDL engineers specialize in physiologic
instrumentation, signal processing and computer-based measurements and
controls. Investigators with projects that are part of the Center on Human
Development and Disability can use IDL labor and services. The cost of
parts and materials is charged to the investigator grant, but there are
no charges for services.
