Graduates in industrial and systems engineering find themselves employed in a wide range of disciplines, including manufacturing engineering, production engineering, project management, human factors and ergonomics, experimental design logistics, work systems design, supply chain management, mathematical programming, probability and statistics, operations research, plant layout, safety and reliability, simulation, manufacturing scheduling and inventory management, quality control, human interface technology, and manufacturing design.
