Senior Design Projects

Industrial & Systems Engineering’s Senior Design Projects present a unique and significant opportunity for companies and organizations in the Pacific Northwest.  Student teams are assigned to investigate selected company-proposed problems.  The goals of the course are to educate students in professional practice and disseminate new information to local industry.

Students apply their knowledge of industrial engineering by defining the problem, collecting data, and proposing solutions in a real-world environment.  Oral and written reports cover the investigation and conclusions reached.  Corporations, small companies, government, and non-profit agencies have received significant benefits from student-proposed solutions.
