Partner with ISE

Information for Industry and Community Organizations

Thank you for visiting the UW Industrial & Systems Engineering website. UW ISE prepares students for careers in an increasingly diverse, dynamic, and technological world. There are a variety of ways for ISE's industrial and community supporters to partner with UW ISE.
An internship is a career-related work experience that integrates classroom theory with "real world" practical experience. The ISE Internship Program (ISEIP) matches companies and community organizations with talented ISE students. Employers use ISEIP's easy online process to post their positions identifying skill area and level. The benefits to both employers and students are significant.
The goal of the ISE jobs website is to match employers with qualified job applicants, from entry-level job seekers to seasoned professionals with B.S.I.E., M.S.I.E. and/or Ph.D. degrees from the University of Washington.
During the two-quarter Senior Design capstone course, student teams pair up with local companies to implement solutions to company identified problems. The goals of the course are to educate students in professional practice and disseminate new information to local industry. Corporations, small companies, and non-profit agencies have received significant benefit from student proposed solutions. To propose a Senior Design project, please email Professor Chrstina Mastrangelo.
