PhD in Industrial Engineering

The Ph.D. program prepares students for leadership in Industrial and Systems Engineering research and university-level education. In addition to meeting course requirements, students spend one or more years on Ph.D. dissertation research. The doctoral degree is the most advanced degree that can be awarded and demonstrates high achievement, including excellent intellectual leadership. Three milestones punctuate that work: the Qualifying Examination, the General Examination, and the Final Examination
