Program Schedule

Training Meetings

Annual activities for the IHART program include two training meetings attended by all current fellows and mentors, and two advisory board meetings. New fellows gather in Seattle at the beginning of their program to meet with staff and potential mentors. A typical program schedule is outlined below with tentative meeting dates if known.

  • New Fellow Orientation, University of Washington Seattle, January 2013
  • Spring Research Roundtable, Seattle, Washington, April 2013
  • Summer Research Institute, tentatively scheduled to be held in conjunction with the U.S. Conference on AIDS, New Orleans, LA, September 8-11, 2013

Program Milestones

Fellows are also responsible for meeting training milestones that include creating and maintaining a mentoring plan, completing required training in the Responsible Conduct of Research, and regular check-ins with the project director.
