"Digital Natives: Ethics, Behavioral Norms, and the Strategies of Knowledge Management"

This project examined the behavior and norms of the generation of young people who are growing up with the Internet as part of their environment. This is the first generation of "net natives," individuals who have grown up in the digital age and have never known a world without the Internet.

Two universal truths underpin most business operations:

1. Unless businesses can demonstrate value to their stakeholders on a constant basis they will lose customers and markets, get overrun by the competition, and eventually become extinct
2. To generate business value, an organization must constantly innovate, and do so in an effective and efficient manner.

In order to compete, and even survive, in today's marketplace, organizations must be capable of innovating. More specifically, organizations should be able to innovate in a highly effective and efficient manner. Failure to innovate can lead to several undesirable consequences from loss of customers to extinction from the marketplace. While these realizations are pervasive among organizations, many have not yet identified how to address the innovation problem.
