EligibilityYou must have an IMA Membership to use the Indoor Climbing Center. The UW Indoor Climbing Center is open to currently enrolled UW student and UW faculty/staff IMA members. In addition, their spouses/registered same sex domestic partners are eligible upon purchase of an IMA membership. It is not open to guests or the general public. Fees*![]()
You will need your UW husky ID card (students & faculty/staff) or IMA membership card to purchase passes. *Note: Equipment rentals and daily/quarter passes are subject to the Washington state sales tax of 8.9%.

Register at the Indoor Climbing Center or the Programs Officeat the IMA (3rd Floor).
Each climber must sign an "Acknowledgement of Risk" form annually(every 12 months). Climbers under 18 years of age must submit the Underage Consent Form, completed with their parents/guardians signature. Regardless of experience, all climbers must successfully complete a skills check annually (every 12 months) before they are eligible to belay. Orientation classes are available for learning belay skills.
