Night Ride

NightRide, UW Shuttle's free ride home service which is funded by U-PASS, will begin a new operating schedule on September 30, 2009. The most notable change for NightRide users is the return of service to the IMA. U-PASS is bringing back the IMA Loop that was previously funded by ASUW by incorporating it into the East Zone route.

Under the new schedule, NightRide shuttles will continue to service any location within 1 mile of campus. The service area is now split into East and West zones. On service days, between 8 pm and midnight, a NightRide shuttle will arrive every 20 minutes at pickup locations across campus including: IMA, Communications Building, HUB, Garfield Lane, Meany Hall and Flagpole.

Meany Hall will serve as the best transfer point for passengers boarding at the IMA and heading for destinations within the West Zone.

The NightRide fall quarter schedule begins Wednesday, September 30 and ends Thursday, December 17. There will be no service on Veteran's Day - Wednesday, November 11 or Thanksgiving Day - Thursday, November 26.

Printed schedules can be picked up at the HUB information desk, the IMA or Transportation Services, 1137 NE Boat Street

For the latest shuttle news, visit www.uwshuttles.com.
