U.S. IMPACT public library web survey link codebox
UPDATES May 6, 2009: We have just finished the new U.S. IMPACT project website and have moved it to a new host. The CODEBOX will remain here. I've made a few changes to the navigation, which I hope will make this site easier to navigate. I hope you will stop by the new site; we have blog posts about our case study field visits and updates about progress on the rest of study. .
After 4 weeks in the field, we have already received over 16,000 completed surveys! Many thanks to all the libraries that have joined in the study, and to all of you who are here to get connected. By popular demand, we've added an additional fielding period, June 1-15. If you would find it more convenient to field the survey during this period, please contact the survey coordinator.
As always, please let me know if you have any questions or problems.

Thank you for choosing to participate in the U.S. Impact public library web survey!
We have tried to make the process of linking to the survey as easy as possible. If you have any problems with these options or wish to discuss which would be best for your library, please contact us at anytime.
We suggest that when using one of the animated linking scripts you also include a banner or button on your library website. That way if your patrons dismiss the survey notice at the beginning of their session they can return to it later. We have added bilingual and Spanish language banners.
We also recommend that you post fliers around your public access computer terminals alerting your patrons to the survey. You can download the flier here in English and Spanish.
You are also welcome to design your own linking option and/or banners. We only ask that the survey ad be displayed prominently on your website.
By default, all of these options will use the live survey link:
http://www.uwsrd.org/impact/index.asp?LibID=XXXXXX
You will need to replace XXXXXX with the LibID provided by the web survey coordinator
If you would like to perform a live test of the survey link you can use this URL: http://www.sdrg.org/impact/underconstruction.html
