Alumni Update: Jared Roach

Dr. Roach was a founder of the field of strategic genomics. As a graduate student, he developed the pairwise end-sequencing strategy, also known as whole-genome shotgunning. This strategy is now widely used for
genome sequencing. His interests include comparative genomics, immunology, fine-scale genetic mapping, and systems biology. His current focus is on regulatory networks in macrophages.
