As Director of the H&S-MSP, Karlotta supervises the program's office and professional staff and guides the course of H&S-MSP's development. She ensures that the directives of the program are fulfilled through collaboration and support of the program staff; administration, faculty, and staff of the six health sciences schools and basic life science departments; and members of the community. Karlotta collaborates with staff and representatives of other innovative intervention programs, academic counseling, enrichment programs and partnerships. Karlotta also assists the Schools of Dentistry, Medicine, Nursing, Pharmacy, Public Health and Community Medicine, and Social Work in sustaining their existing programs and with the development and implementation of new recruitment and retention programs.

Janet is responsible for coordinating and overseeing the H & S-MSP Program's Student Enrichment Initiatives, such as STAR. She oversees application procedures, maintains program budgets, and develops, coordinates, and implements the enrichment programs' activities. Janet is in charge of promoting enrichment initiatives goals and objectives, services, and activities with the public, both on and off campus. She also provides couseling, mentoring, and advising for undergraduate/transfer students who aim to pursue graduate degrees or careers in the health sciences. Janet also develops and facilitates quarterly workshops for undergraduate through professional and graduate level students pertaining to health sciences academic success and transition into graduate/professional programs.

As Director of the Health Sciences IMSD Program, Lisa is responsible for providing leadership in the program's administrative, financial, and organizational areas. She developes, markets, implements and evaluates program-related activities, courses and conferences throughout the biomedical and basic sciences at the U of W as well as with other progams in the WWAMI region. Lisa works with other on and off-campus groups and agencies, and is also responsible for writing program grants and providing academic and career counseling.

Teri provides counseling for undergraduate, graduate, and professional students on research development and personal and social issues, monitoring the academic progress of the graduate/professional students. She coordinates activities with Schools, academic departments, and programs across the UW campuses, and also coordinates the Visiting Student Hospitality Network. Teri oversees many IMSD activities and assists the Director with program maintenance. She is also responsible for undergraduate and graduate recruitment, working with Janet Hofmann.
