Foldit

Foldit is a revolutionary new computer game enabling you to contribute to important scientific research. Join this free online game and help scientists at the IPD predict the folds of unsolved proteins as well as design new proteins to cure diseases. Researchers are collecting data to find out if humans’ pattern-recognition and puzzle-solving abilities make them more efficient than existing computer programs at pattern-folding tasks. If this turns out to be true, the strategies employed by players can be taught to computers to improve protein design!

Rosetta@home

The IPD needs your help to predict the folds of unsolved proteins as well as design new proteins to cure diseases. By downloading Rosetta@home and running the Rosetta program on your computer while you don’t need it you will help us speed up and extend our research in ways we couldn’t possibly attempt without your help.  Please join us in our efforts! Rosetta@home is not for profit.
