My work is linked closely with the mission of the Murry lab. Initially, my focus has been in the role of circulating progenitor cells in transplant arteriopathy, but it has now shifted in the area of small and large animal cardiovascular physiology. As Director of the Core lab, we perform small animal surgical models of myocardial infarction and assess the functional improvements by echocardiography and invasive hemodynamics following stem-cell grafting.
