the following command in the body of the message:

name>
Don't include the brackets in your message
Note: Be sure to leave the subject field empty and to delete any signature
files. Otherwise your request cannot be processed properly.
When you subscribe you will receive a "Welcome Message" with further
instructions on how to use the list. For example, how to remove yourself
from the list and how to get additional help.
You will probably want to save this message for reference at a later
date.
Some useful things to remember:
You will only be able to access the list from the email address that
you
register with the list (i.e., the email address you subscribe from,
unless
you change your registered address using the SET command).
The point is this: make sure that you subscribe using *your* email
address.
To send commands to the list you will send them to:
listproc@u.washington.edu
For detailed documentation on ListProc commands and user privileges
you
should get a copy of the ListProc User Manual.
To obtain a copy send the command (in the body of your message)
get doc userman
to
listproc@listproc.net
or you can ftp a PostScript version from
