ITLit-list Listserv is the official listserv resulting from the Information and Technology Summit held at the University of Washington on February 8, 1999.

        itlist-list@u.washington.edu

To subscribe to this list send a message to listproc@u.washington.edu with
the following command in the body of the message:

        subscribe itlit-list <your name>

Don't include the brackets in your message

Note: Be sure to leave the subject field empty and to delete any signature
files.  Otherwise your request cannot be processed properly.

When you subscribe you will receive a "Welcome Message" with further
instructions on how to use the list. For example, how to remove yourself
from the list and how to get additional help.

You will probably want to save this message for reference at a later date.

Some useful things to remember:

You will only be able to access the list from the email address that you
register with the list (i.e., the email address you subscribe from, unless
you change your registered address using the SET command).
The point is this: make sure that you subscribe using *your* email
address.

To send commands to the list you will send them to:

        listproc@u.washington.edu

For detailed documentation on ListProc commands and user privileges you
should get a copy of the ListProc User Manual.
To obtain a copy send the command (in the body of your message)

        get doc userman

to

         listproc@listproc.net

or you can ftp a PostScript version from

        info.cren.net/listproc/ps/userman.ps

In the event that you encounter any difficulties please contact the list
